Liverpool eye overhaul after Leeds defeat highlights defensive woes

In attack, finding a successor to Mohamed Salah is an absolute must. Bradley Barcola has emerged as Liverpool's preferred target, although any deal could exceed £100 million and would be the third such big spend in twelve months. Adding a right winger is non‑negotiable for the club.

Midfield also needs reinforcement as Curtis Jones looks likely to move on this summer. Harvey Elliott, who spent time on loan at Aston Villa with an obligation, has been frozen out, while pre‑season standout Trey Nyoni impressed the coaching staff. A new central midfielder would therefore be welcomed.
