Driessen warns: Forbs' speed poses a danger to PSV

On Wednesday evening the 22‑year‑old wing‑flasher Carlos Forbs of Club Brugge faces PSV in the Champions League, and journalist Valentijn Driessen describes his lightning‑fast running ability as life‑threatening. He also points to an unforgettable moment from Forbs' Ajax time that still haunts him.
Driessen said during the Kick‑off podcast that Forbs plays on the right and has a direct opponent in the match. He named Kostic, who performed well twice, as one of the players Forbs will have to face, alongside Anis Hadj Moussa. According to Driessen the bets are clear: Forbs is faster, but not more effective than Hadj Moussa.
From his Ajax period one unlucky moment burns onto Driessen's retina, in which Forbs stumbled over the ball at Excelsior despite his full speed. Driessen emphasized that Forbs doesn't score much, but his speed is life‑threatening.
