Amanda Martins says Wesley França's cheating broke their marriage

On Monday the 26th, influencer Amanda Martins took to Instagram to detail the collapse of her marriage to Roma defender Wesley França, the former Flamengo right‑back, while cradling her one‑year‑old daughter Alice. She said the relationship ended after she discovered multiple infidelities, some occurring during her pregnancy.

Phone evidence and accusations

Martins asserted that she was cheated on several times, including while she was expecting, and that she decided to end the relationship after locating records of the alleged affairs on his mobile phone. She described the evidence as decisive proof of his repeated betrayals.

"I gave several opportunities for him to confess and he didn’t confess. He kept lying," she said in the Instagram videos.

During the gestation period, Martins felt abandoned by the athlete and chose to keep the situation secret while attempting to rebuild the family. She explained that she tried to maintain a solid household despite the growing strain.

"I accepted everything silently, I forgave, I tried to actually have a family, have a solid marriage, but it didn’t work and it wasn’t my fault," she added.

According to Martins, França showed no remorse when confronted with the phone evidence. "He didn’t ask forgiveness, thinks everything he did was normal," she claimed.

She also expressed doubt that he will ever change his behaviour in future relationships. "There is no relationship that makes a person change from inside out. I think it’s him," Martins concluded.

The couple began dating in 2024, split in August of that year while she was pregnant, reunited months after Alice’s birth in January 2025, married in May and subsequently moved to Italy.
