Inter's €20m bid for Khalaili meets Union's €30m price tag
Inter Milan have submitted a €20 million bid for Union Saint‑Gilloise winger Anan Khalaili, but the Belgian club says the offer is below its €30 million price tag, leaving the move unresolved as the 23‑year‑old approaches his final days with the Brussels side.
Interest in Khalaili has surged, with an Italian top club already putting forward a first concrete offer. Belgian media have labelled the proposal a 'monster bid', yet no agreement has been reached.
Sacha Tavolieri reported that Inter have placed a €20 million offer to bring the winger to Serie A. The club view him as a potential successor to fellow Dutch full‑back Denzel Dumfries, who is on his way to Real Madrid.
Union Saint‑Gilloise indicated that the €20 million proposal falls short of their expectations. They would consider a transfer if the total package reaches €30 million, targeting a fixed fee of €25 million plus performance‑related bonuses.
Inter benefit from Khalaili's willingness to join Milan, as he reportedly prefers the move to Napoli, another interested club. Napoli's interest adds competition but does not yet translate into a concrete offer.
The coming weeks will determine whether Inter, Napoli or Union can bridge the valuation gap. Until a deal is struck, Khalaili remains a Union player with his future uncertain.
