Bayern's plan revives Benjamin Sesko as a target in the Allianz Arena

The German giants have revived interest in former transfer target Benjamin Sesko, a step linked to a special plan that involves captain Harry Kane and puts the striker back in the club's sight.

The report comes from Bayern insider Christian Falk, whose insider status gives the claim weight. Falk confirmed that Bayern are actively monitoring the situation of the Slovenian striker.

According to Falk, Harry Kane admits he will not become faster with age, but insists he remains indispensable for Bayern through his passing and vision. This self‑assessment fuels the idea of playing deeper and freeing a pure striker ahead of him.

The concept already sits in the coaching staff's heads. When Vincent Kompany took charge in 2024, the club wanted to sign Sesko, but deemed him too expensive. A year later Manchester United secured the striker instead.

At Manchester United last season Sesko featured in 32 games, scoring twelve goals and providing one assist.
