Romano Schmid opens the scoring early, Frosinone miss out on victory

On Sunday, Frosinone were away in the eighth round of the Italian Serie A at Atalanta Bergamo. Despite an early double strike from Romano Schmid, which gave the lead already in the first minute, the match ended after a spectacular back-and-forth with a 4-4 draw.
Schmid gives Frosinone early lead
Schmid opened the scoring in the first minute with 1-0 for Frosinone and extended it in the 17th minute to 2-1. They were his first league goals since the summer transfer from Werder Bremen.
Ederson equalised in the 33rd minute via a penalty, while Nikola Krstovic had already scored the 1-1 for Atalanta in the 14th minute and shortly before the break put them ahead 3-2.
Giacomo Calò restored the equaliser for Frosinone in the 48th minute, but Eljif Elmas shortly afterwards gave Bergamo the lead again with the fourth goal.
The substitute Aleksa Terzić scored in the 82nd minute to make it 4-4, although Florian Grillitsch was missing due to injury.
Inter Milan also turned a defeat in the final minutes, winning 2-1 thanks to Marcus Thuram in the 91st minute and Piotr Zielinski via a penalty in the 97th.
Thus Inter remain unbeaten at the top of the table, leading ahead of Lazio Rome and leaving AS Roma four points behind.
