Manchester City have secured the signing of 16‑year‑old left‑winger Jeremy Monga from Leicester City, paying £10 million (about €11.6 million) after outbidding Arsenal, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday afternoon. The deal includes a long‑term plan for the prodigy, whose market value is estimated at €15 million.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano announced the move on Friday afternoon. Manchester City succeeded in outbidding Arsenal, who had been in prolonged negotiations for the youngster.
Jeremy Monga is presently a Leicester City player, but his contract will be terminated in the short term. Enzo Maresca played a key role in the negotiations that secured the transfer.
