Allan Saint-Maximin agrees move from Lens to Charlotte FC

Allan Saint-Maximin will leave RC Lens to join Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC.

The French winger, 29, has reached agreement with Charlotte FC for a move. The deal is subject to personal terms and a medical.

Saint-Maximin spent three seasons at RC Lens, scoring 15 goals in 104 appearances. He joined Lens from Newcastle United in 2023.

Charlotte FC confirmed interest in signing Saint-Maximin in March. The club has been actively pursuing attacking talent for its MLS roster.

A final agreement is expected after personal terms are finalized and medicals completed.

The move would mark Saint-Maximin’s first experience in MLS after six years in Ligue 1 and Premier League.
