Le Havre eye former Paris FC boss Kombouaré as Digard replacement

Le Havre have entered advanced negotiations with former Paris FC boss Antoine Kombouaré to take over from Didier Digard, who was dismissed this week, according to Paris‑Normandie reports. The club’s majority shareholder, Blue Crow, and its American owners are steering the search for a manager who can keep the Normandy side afloat.
The American owners consider the 63‑year‑old Kombouaré the ideal candidate to stabilise the Normandy club. His reputation for rescuing struggling sides aligns with Le Havre’s urgent needs.
Kombouaré brings more than two decades of experience at clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, FC Nantes, Toulouse FC and RC Lens. He guided Paris FC to retain Ligue 1 status last season, winning six of eleven matches, drawing three and losing two after Stéphane Gilli’s dismissal.
American owners face fan revolt as Le Havre crisis deepens
Le Havre currently sit bottom of Ligue 1, with only two points and no victories after nine matchdays. The club hopes the new appointment can reverse this early slump.
