Ibrahim Maza dreams of PSG as the club delays his arrival

Ibrahim Maza, twenty‑year‑old attacking midfielder of Bayer Leverkusen, is tied to the German club until June 2030. He told RTL/Sky Sport Deutschland that playing for Paris Saint‑Germain would be “an immense dream”. Despite this appeal, PSG does not envisage an offer for him in January.
He added that PSG is among the best clubs in the world, on the same level as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal. Paris Saint‑Germain has no intention of acquiring the player this winter, according to information.
Bayer Leverkusen has already considered extending his contract with Maza, including a salary increase. The price demanded by the German club could complicate negotiations with PSG.
Remarkable start to the season
Maza has recorded a very good start to the season, tallying four goals and three assists in twelve matches across all competitions. These performances have increased the desire for him on the transfer market.
He is set to face Olympique de Marseille in the Europa League on Thursday at 21 h. The match will take place in the Europa League.
The Bayer Leverkusen staff would have informed the player of Parisian interest, placing him on the capital club’s target list. PSG does not plan an offer in January, but could reconsider the situation during the summer transfer window.
Maza named Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal as career goals. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have also been linked to his name, while interest from the two Spanish giants appears older and less concrete.
He has twenty‑four caps for Algeria and has scored three goals for the national team. These performances strengthen his profile on the international stage.
