Dream Bayer star: Ibrahim Maza lets PSG rumours flare up

Ibrahim Maza is not only a key player for Bayer Leverkusen, but one of the best performers of the current Bundesliga season. The Algerian international stands out with outstanding technique and absolute fighting spirit. His teammate Deniz Undav recently joked that he no longer feels like playing against the 20‑year‑old and should move to Paris Saint‑Germain.

For weeks rumors have been circulating about a possible departure of Maza to Paris. The French are already being credited with a push on the player side, while they closely monitor the development of the Leverkusen star.

Maza made a suggestive comment about a possible transfer to PSG. He could take the next step in the summer.

In an interview with RTL and Sky he said: “It would of course be a huge dream to play for such a big club,” and named Paris together with Real, Barca and Arsenal as the best clubs in the world.

Nevertheless, he remains contractually bound to Bayer Leverkusen until 2030.

The 20‑year‑old wants to win the Europa League and the DFB‑Pokal this season.

He emphasizes that Bayer Leverkusen wants to qualify for the Champions‑League 100 percent and trusts the coach, as long as everyone gives their all.

Successful season start for Bayer Leverkusen

The club has had a good start to the season.

In both cup competitions it has been optimal so far.

In the Europa‑League the team won the first three matches without conceding a single goal.

In the DFB‑Pokal the team progressed solidly to the round of 16, where a clash against RB Leipzig on home ground will be a real test of strength.
