Hearts travel to Thun with 19 players amid injury crisis

Heart of Midlothian will travel to Thun on Thursday with 19 players after winger Calvin Miller suffered a knee injury that requires surgery, ruling him out for months and swelling an injury list that has ten members unavailable.
Miller injured his knee in Sunday's Premier Sports Cup semi‑final defeat by Hibernian, an injury that will keep him out for two months. Thomas Magnusson also faces a lay‑off until after the international break after suffering a concussion in the first half at Hampden Park.
Squad depleted for Thun clash
It leaves head coach Wouter Vrancken with only 19 players, six short of the normal 25, for Thursday's Conference League match against Thun. The absence of Miller and Magnusson means the Edinburgh side now have ten players sidelined through injury.
Hearts took an early lead at Hampden Park, but Magnusson was forced off after 14 minutes. Miller, who set up Claudio Braga's opener, left the dressing room on 37 minutes, and Hibernian soon went 2‑1 up.
Until his injury, the uncapped 28‑year‑old was being touted as a possible inclusion in the latest Scotland squad announced by Sebastien Pocognoli after Josh McPake and James Wilson were called up last month.
The club's Sport department recorded a £2.4m loss in Bloom's first year.
