The decisive moment of the celebrations arrived when ultras from Genoa and Ancona unfurled large banners in the north stands of their stadiums, each proclaiming respect for the centenary of Napoli. The vivid displays, captured in FOTO, marked the high‑point of the tribute.
The Centenario of Il Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli continues to gather attestations of esteem across the peninsula. Over the past weeks the club has been honoured by fans and local authorities alike, underscoring its hundred‑year legacy in Italian football.
La Gradinata Nord in Genoa, long linked to Napoli through a historic twinning, presented a solemn banner reading, “100 years of football and pure passion, honour to Partenope queen of the South”, signed by the I Gruppi Ultras della Nord.
Similarly, the Curva Nord Ancona, bound by a solid friendship with the blue club, displayed a heartfelt strip stating, “100 years of history, belonging and identity. Congratulations to the shirt and the children of this city”, signed by Curva Nord Ancona.
The tribute was highlighted on Google Discover under the heading “Fonti preferite”, with the notation “Stampa A− A+”, confirming the wide digital reach of the celebrations.
La continued flow of banners and messages demonstrates that the centenary of Napoli remains a unifying symbol, reinforcing shared values and identity among clubs along Italy’s coasts.
