Bayern Munich pulls Kompany out for weeks? News on staff confidence

FC Bayern München has expressed its confidence in the staff of Vincent Kompany after the Belgian coach collapsed during a training on Friday and was taken to hospital. Despite his absence, Bayern secured a 3-1 victory over Freiburg on Sunday.
Staff confidence confirmed
The club management is convinced that the assistants can cover for the absence of their head coach. Assistant Aaron Danks took charge against Freiburg and immediately after the match received a message from Kompany: “Well done and congratulations to the team and the players.”
Kompany must take rest in the coming weeks to recover. Bayern wants to burden him with football matters as little as possible, so that he can focus on his health and his family. Sporting director Max Eberl emphasized that Kompany himself must decide whether he wants to follow a match.

Danks replied that he now mainly had to rest again. He can count on the support of, among others, René Maric, Floribert N'Galula and Daniel Fradley, all former Anderlecht staff members. Within the club the staff is regarded as a well‑coordinated unit.
Therefore Bayern is not considering any personnel changes for now. With the big match against Borussia Dortmund looming, the club mainly wants to maintain stability while Kompany gets the time to fully recover.
