Barrios asks to forget the defeat and focus on Barça

Midfielder Pablo Barrios, of Atlético de Madrid, said on Tuesday that, after the 0‑2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, the team must “erase today” and already focus on next Sunday’s match against Barcelona.
Barrios played alongside Olise in the Atlético‑Bayern Champions clash.
Manu Fernandez, accredited by the EFE agency, covered the interview.

The player explained to Movistar+ that they knew Bayern was one of the favourites and that the match turned out very difficult.
He assured that the team gave “everything, but it couldn't be”.
Walter Zimmermann added that one must work to play against opponents of this level at the end of the season.
Javier G. Gómara commented that the opponent's first goal came from their own defence and that “those details are annoying”.
The 0‑1, according to Barrios, marked the beginning of the end for Atlético.
He declared that they were not creating much danger, that the goal was unexpected, and that, when trying to go forward, the second goal arrived.
He added that the partial game plan consisted of using Sorloth up front and looking for second balls, but they lacked staying longer in that second phase to create danger in the opponent's half.
