Anderlecht and Club Brugge step up scouting for Levski midfielder

Club Brugge and Anderlecht are both focusing on the same target, according to transfer specialist Ekrem Konur. The 26‑year‑old Portuguese midfielder Serginho, who currently plays for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria, is being monitored closely by Scouts from both Belgian clubs over the coming months.
Early‑stage interest, no deal yet
There is no concrete transfer dossier at present and Konur stresses that the interest remains at an early stage. Both clubs are still evaluating the player before any formal approach.
The clubs aim to build a clearer picture of Serginho’s abilities, but this does not guarantee a bid in the January window. Their scouting will continue throughout the next months to assess whether the midfielder fits their squads.
Konur notes that the scouting phase must deliver more insight into the player’s qualities and the potential value he could add. Until that information is gathered, no agreement has been reached.
At present, no deal or concrete accord exists, and a January move would be difficult. Levski Sofia is reportedly reluctant to let the 26‑year‑old depart during the winter market.
Even if interest from Belgium becomes more concrete, the Bulgarian club’s stance could pose a significant obstacle to any transfer.
