AC Milan pushes for possible loan of Viktor Gyokeres with Ruben Amorim

AC Milan was one of the first clubs to contact Arsenal about Viktor Gyokeres and intends to move forward already in January, according to TeamTalk. The Swedish forward is exploring options to leave Arsenal, and a reunion with Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim is among the possibilities.

Deal still informal, but focus on the loan

The team led by Ruben Amorim shows interest in a loan deal, although the talks are still informal. Gyokeres, former Sporting, expressed dissatisfaction with the limited playing time, which reinforces his desire to change clubs.

This season, Viktor Gyokeres was on the bench in three of the five games played by Arsenal, starting only in the English Community Shield, the opening match of the Gunners' campaign. In total, he has logged just 207 minutes under Mikel Arteta.

TeamTalk notes that Milan is looking to understand the feasibility of the deal in the upcoming transfer window, indicating that the Italian club plans to act already in January.

If the loan materialises, Gyokeres will reunite with Ruben Amorim, who previously worked with the player during his stint at Sporting.
