Bayern chief Herbert Hainer shuts down Real Madrid's Olise chase

🇩🇪

At a press conference in Munich, Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer told Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez that Michael Olise is not for sale, reiterating the club’s firm stance amid swirling transfer speculation. The statement came after Real Madrid publicly denied any negotiations with the French winger.

Real Madrid have already added four new signings this summer: Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, David Silva and Denzel Dumfries. The club is now focusing on departures while manager Jose Mourinho seeks another centre‑back and an additional midfielder.

Despite not being a centre‑back or midfielder, Bayern winger Michael Olise continues to be linked with the Spanish giants. Real Madrid issued a public statement clarifying that they are not in negotiations with the Frenchman.

Herbert Hainer spoke to the German newspaper Abendzeitung, saying, “As I’ve already said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has that (an offer) in mind, he can save himself the effort because we do not want to sell Michael.” He added that Real Madrid had contacted him to confirm they have no contact with Olise and object to media speculation.

Bayern officials Uli Hoeness and Karl‑Heinz Rummenigge have also reiterated in recent weeks that Michael Olise is not for sale. Their consistent messages underline the club’s intention to keep the winger in its plans.

Nevertheless, reports suggest Olise harbours a desire to wear the white jersey, meaning speculation is likely to persist until a definitive decision is reached.
