Volunteer Manager – Over 50s Walking Football Team (Chester, UK)

A Chester-based Over 50s Walking Football Team is looking for an experienced, organised and enthusiastic volunteer Manager to oversee the team both on and off the pitch. The successful candidate will help create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere while supporting the continued development of the squad. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and leadership skills who enjoys football and wants to give something back to the local football community. Responsibilities * Plan enjoyable and inclusive training sessions. * Organise team selection and matchday logistics. * Promote fair play, teamwork and player wellbeing. * Represent the team and liaise with league officials. * Encourage participation and help players develop in a positive environment.
