Stade Rennais are targeting 23‑year‑old England youth defender Charlie Cresswell, but will confront Premier League interest as the Breton club prepares for a UEFA Europa League return next season, with the player valued at a minimum of €25 million after his €5 million 2024 move from Leeds United to Toulouse FC.

Charlie Cresswell has become a regular under coach Carles Martinez Novell at Toulouse FC. Novell departed the club to join Bayer Leverkusen.

Stade Rennais have maintained a long‑standing interest in the England youth international. Rennes scouts observed Cresswell throughout the season.

Le TéFéCé values Cresswell at no less than €25 million. The club is obliged to sell this summer to balance its books.

Ouest‑France the competition for Cresswell’s signature will be significant. The Breton club must weigh the financial offer against its sporting ambitions.
