Season-long loan sees Tottenham’s Akhamrich step up to League One
A season-long loan sees Tottenham Hotspur winger Yusuf Akhamrich join Leyton Orient, after a spell at Bristol Rovers that yielded six goals and three assists in 19 League Two games. The 20‑year‑old, who was on the Spurs bench in November 2025, aims to test himself at League One level.
Leyton Orient secured Akhamrich on a season‑long loan from Tottenham Hotspur, adding him as their sixth summer signing. The League One side already brought in Tony Springett, Fin Stevens, Armando Dobra, Nathan Baxter and Isaac Hayden.
During the second half of last season at Bristol Rovers, Akhamrich contributed six goals and three assists across 19 League Two appearances. His influence helped the club record eleven wins and two draws in his final fourteen outings.
The Spurs academy graduate was named on the bench for Tottenham’s first team in November 2025. He earned his first call‑up to the Morocco Under‑23 squad in March.
“I had a really positive loan last season and now I want to test myself at League One level,” Akhamrich told the club website. “I like to excite people when I get the ball, I’m a very positive and direct player and I hope I can help us have a good season.”
