Rotterdam's striking void fuels Ouaissa chase despite €10 million price

Feyenoord Rotterdam is focusing on NEC forward Sami Ouaissa as the club’s attack lacks a proven goal scorer after recent departures, prompting a search for a replacement. The front line’s deficiency has placed Ouaissa at the centre of the club’s transfer agenda.

Ouaissa has publicly stated his desire to join Feyenoord Rotterdam, and an update at 13:05 today cited a €10 million price tag as the baseline for any deal involving the player. This figure sets the financial framework for the potential move.

NEC has already reinforced its attack by signing two newcomers, Emre Mor and Tahaui, to cover the void Ouaissa would leave. Mor is described as a great footballer, though he is still finding his rhythm in the Eredivisie.

The Nijmegen side regard Ouaissa as an important attacker, and NEC watcher Sander Janssen notes an informal agreement between the player and the club, hoping Ouaissa remains for another week or two while alternatives are explored.

The transfer will not be cheap; Feyenoord must meet the €10 million asking price, although Janssen suggests there is some room for negotiation. He adds that NEC would find €9 million plus a future sell‑on percentage sufficient to release Ouaissa.
