Turkish full‑back Zeki Celik has announced he will leave AS Roma at the end of his contract and sign for Juventus, a move confirmed Officially by the Giallorossi club. His departure leaves Roma with a vacant right‑back spot as the Serie A side reshapes its defence.
The Official announcement confirmed Celik's surprise decision not to extend his deal, confirming his imminent transfer to Juventus despite recent performances for Roma. The club stated the Turkish defender will leave at the end of his current contract.
Roma arranged Celik's return flight to Fiumicino, Italy, ensuring his travel back to the country is already organised. The Giallorossi have booked the flight as part of the departure logistics.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the newspaper reported that Celik's signature on a new Juventus contract is scheduled for tomorrow in Trigoria. He was also set to resume training with Roma on Saturday before the deal was finalised.
