Report Man United eyes European giant Juventus for Zirkzee
Report Man United sees a European giant in Juventus as a solution to its striker surplus, with the Turin club eager to fill an attacking gap. Joshua Zirkzee, whose profile suits Serie A, has become the focal point as Exit talks gather pace.
According to dello Sport, contact has been ongoing as Juventus work through a number of attacking options, and Zirkzee is firmly in that thinking. The Serie club in Turin sees his technical quality and link‑play as a natural fit for Italian football.
The situation appears to have advanced on the player side first. Juventus officials have held discussions with Kia Joorabchian and have received encouragement that the Dutchman would be open to the switch.
Manchester United value Zirkzee between €35 million and €40 million and are open to a temporary departure. United would prefer any loan to include an obligation to buy in the summer of 2027.
Juventus, however, would favour a loan with an option to buy, or an obligation triggered only by certain conditions. That distinction matters in the Italian market where flexibility often determines whether talks move quickly or stall.
Zirkzee’s salary, reported at €3.6 million per year plus bonuses, is viewed as manageable by Juventus. Our calculations suggest the financial outlay fits the club’s recruitment budget.
For Manchester United, the decision may come down to balancing financial recovery with squad planning. If the terms cannot align, the exit could remain unresolved, leaving both clubs to reassess their options.
