Real Madrid are on the brink of sealing a fifth summer signing after reaching an agreement with Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig, while Dutch right‑back Denzel Dumfries has begun training at Valdebebas, marking his first on‑field involvement with the Merengues.

The club said it could officially confirm Diomande’s signing at any moment, highlighting the rapid pace of its transfer activity this window. Such flexibility underscores Real Madrid’s intent to complete the deal swiftly.

Even before the window opened, Real Madrid completed four major arrivals: Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries and Bernardo Silva. Those signings fulfilled most of the squad’s summer objectives early on.

Dumfries promised fans the group will “fight for every objective” and make them proud, while noting he is unlikely to start ahead of Trent Alexander‑Arnold. His presence, however, gives Jose Mourinho a different profile and intensifies competition for the right‑back role.
