Mourinho pushes Real Madrid for another summer signing
Real Madrid are on the verge of completing their fifth summer signing, the RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, after already adding four players since the season ended, and manager Jose Mourinho has signalled that the Merengues are still not satisfied with the squad.
The agreement with both Diomande and RB Leipzig has already been reached, allowing the Merengues to announce the signing at any moment. Mourinho views the winger as a way to add depth on the flanks as he continues to reshape the squad.
Diario AS despite the five new arrivals, Los Blancos cannot rule out further signings, with Mourinho insisting on additional changes before the window closes.

In parallel, Real Madrid have been linked with Spanish midfielder Rodri after the World Cup, although the club has publicly denied any interest while noting the player has only one year left on his contract and is keen to move.
The club also needs to offload several players to free up space; Bernardo Silva has joined, Dani Ceballos has departed, and Aurelien Tchouameni’s contract has been renewed.

A priority for the Merengue side is the situation of Vinicius Junior, whose contract expires in a year; he will return after his holidays and the club aims to decide quickly on renewal or sale.
Other squad members with uncertain futures include Eduardo Camavinga and Brahim Diaz, both expressing a desire to stay, as does defender Raul Asencio, while Franco Mastantuono heads out on loan and Gonzalo Garcia will leave permanently.
