Mbappé shines again
Kylian Mbappé's eighth goal of the tournament helped France secure a spot in the semifinals against a weak Marokko side. Despite missing a penalty, Mbappé's goal sealed the deal for France.
The French team will face either Spanje or the Rode Duivels in the semifinals, depending on the outcome of their match.
Mbappé's goal was his eighth of the tournament, and he is now close to Lionel Messi's record of 21 goals.
The match saw Marokko's Bounou become the first goalkeeper to save four penalties in a World Cup.
France's victory was marred by an injury to Mbappé, who was substituted out of the game with an ice pack on his ankle.
Despite the injury, Mbappé said he was okay and that it was just a minor issue.
France's coach, Didier Deschamps, also downplayed the injury, saying that Mbappé had some pain in his ankle but that it was not serious.
