Luis Enrique warns PSG of fierce rivals after narrow Lens defeat
Le Paris Saint-Germain suffered its first setback of the 2026‑2027 season on Sunday, losing 0‑1 to RC Lens in the Trophée des Champions, a narrow defeat that Luis Enrique says signals a tough battle ahead despite the club’s status as overwhelming favorite in Ligue 1.
The capital side's 0‑1 loss to RC Lens in the Trophée des Champions on Sunday marked PSG's first setback of the 2026‑2027 campaign, delivering a warning before Ligue 1 begins.
When asked about PSG's ambitions, Spanish coach Luis Enrique said he would not single out one opponent, noting that several clubs could challenge the title of champion of France.

Enrique also reminded that PSG must stay focused despite being the overwhelming favorite, and noted the club's Ligue 1 opener will take place at the Parc des Princes against Stade Rennais this Sunday.
