LOSC finalises Ousmane Touré’s Ligue 2 loan to neighbour Dunkerque

LOSC confirmed on Monday that the 21‑year‑old defender Ousmane Touré is leaving on a season‑long loan to USL Dunkerque, moving back to the Nord to compete in Ligue 2 after missing the previous season with a serious knee injury and rehabilitation.

The knee problem struck Touré on the first matchday of Ligue 1 2025‑2026 at the Stade Brestois, forcing him to spend the entire campaign in the infirmary. During the summer he trained on the periphery of the professional group overseen by Stéphane Pichot.

The loan is official for one season, running until the close of the 2026‑2027 campaign. The young defender will stay in the Nord region while rediscovering regular competition in Ligue 2, giving him the chance to rebuild his rhythm.

Club statements on the move

"Polyvalent, dynamic and comfortable with the ball, Ousmane Touré joins USL Dunkerque on loan from LOSC," the club announced. The French wording includes the term en, preserving the original phrasing.

Le LOSC added, "By joining today the Dunkerque ranks, Ousmane Touré continues his development in Ligue 2, at another neighbouring Club of the department." The statement underlines the club’s intent to aid his progression.

After a promising loan spell at Valenciennes in National during the 2024‑2025 season, the loan marks a new tour for the U20 international, offering a step up to a higher tier and the chance to sharpen his skills.
