Joyful Marcel Boekhoorn presents Dusan Tadic with coveted number 10 at NEC
Serbian veteran Dusan Tadic has been handed the number 10 shirt at NEC, the Nijmegenaren club, and was photographed alongside delighted owner Marcel Boekhoorn and head coach Dick Schreuder as the new signing celebrated his arrival on Tuesday afternoon officially.
Last season the number 10 jersey at De Goffert was worn by Tjaronn Chery. The shirt will now be taken over by Tadic, who signed for NEC on Monday in Nijmegen.
Tadic signed a two‑year contract with NEC, committing the 37‑year‑old Serbian to the club until 2026. The agreement makes him eligible to play immediately should NEC enter the Champions League qualifying round against Olympiakos.
