Arsenal secures £65m Emirates shirt deal until 2033

🇬🇧 By 4AllFootball ·

Arsenal have extended their front‑of‑shirt partnership with Emirates to 2033 to secure a reliable revenue stream that underpins the club’s ambition to remain competitive, with the airline committing £65 million for the next two seasons and also covering training‑kit sponsorship and stadium naming rights.

The extension adds a further year beyond earlier reports, pushing the expiry date past the original 2028 deadline. It also replaces the separate agreements that were due to run out in that year.

Arsenal pursued the renewal to lock in a reliable revenue stream that underpins its ambition to stay competitive on the pitch. Securing the partnership early allows the club to plan its budget with confidence and avoid the uncertainty of negotiating separate kit and stadium naming deals.

Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot said the partnership has become one of world sport’s most defining collaborations. “Together we’ve always looked beyond traditional partnership and towards creating experiences that bring supporters closer to Arsenal, finding new ways to connect with our global community,” she explained, adding that the club now stands in its strongest position ever, built on two decades of trust and shared ambition.

Under the extension, Emirates will pay £65 million over the coming two seasons, after which the annual fee rises to £75 million. Additional bonuses of £10‑15 million are available should Arsenal win the Champions League or the Premier League.

The deal was reportedly agreed as one of Slot’s final acts of business at Arsenal and she is set to leave the club later this year. Her tenure saw the partnership grow into a global brand platform.

The Emirates partnership, now entering its 27th year, originally secured stadium naming rights in 2012 and a kit deal in 2023. Both agreements were due to expire in 2028, prompting the need for simultaneous renegotiation and the longer‑term extension.

For Emirates, the extension guarantees continued global brand exposure through shirt, kit and stadium visibility until 2033. For Arsenal, the renewed revenue stream provides a stable financial base to support its sporting ambitions and future investments.
