Guillermo Ochoa Leads Mexico Squad for World Cup
Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, 40, will captain Mexico at the FIFA World Cup starting in 11 days.
The Mexican Football Federation released a 26‑player roster for the group stage.
The list retains a dozen members from the Qatar 2022 campaign.
All players are set to compete in Group C.
Mexico opens the tournament against South Africa on 11 June.
The second group match is versus Korea on 18 June, followed by Czech Republic on 24 June.
Ochoa will appear in his sixth World Cup, a record for a goalkeeper.
He turns 40 later this month.
Mexico will look to build on the experience of returning players.
The squad aims to advance beyond the group stage.
