Liverpool, now overseen by manager Andoni Iraola, have identified Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga as a potential summer signing as they look to bolster their midfield ahead of the new season. The French 23‑year‑old is valued at around €60 million, and the Premier League club have already opened talks with the Spanish side.

Liverpool have contacted Real Madrid to obtain details on Camavinga’s availability and the conditions of a possible transfer. Real Madrid are believed to be willing to negotiate a sale if an offer matching the €60 million valuation arrives during the transfer window.

Camavinga’s recent season at the Santiago Bernabeu has been described as sub‑par, with the midfielder falling behind Thiago Pitarch in the pecking order during the second half of the campaign. The situation has attracted interest from several clubs, Liverpool being among the most attentive.

Real Madrid hope to raise more than €100 million from player sales this summer, and Camavinga’s potential departure could contribute to that target. However, the French midfielder has publicly stated he has no intention of leaving the club this summer.

Camavinga believes he can improve his standing under new manager Jose Mourinho and aims to become an important part of the squad. He has instructed his representatives not to entertain approaches from other clubs, focusing instead on impressing Mourinho during pre‑season.

Unless Camavinga changes his stance, a move to Anfield appears difficult to complete this summer, despite Liverpool’s genuine interest. The club will continue to assess other options to strengthen their midfield ahead of the upcoming season.
