Stegemann leaves Freiburg for Stuttgart after ten seasons

Greta Stegemann has signed for VfB Stuttgart on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old midfielder agreed to join Stuttgart following the expiration of her contract at SC Freiburg.

Stegemann spent a decade with Freiburg, making 223 appearances across all competitions.

Her departure marks the end of her second stint at the club after initially joining their youth academy in 2014.

Stuttgart confirmed the signing on Tuesday, with Stegemann set to integrate into Peter Perchtold’s squad.

Her arrival adds midfield depth as Stuttgart prepare for their Bundesliga campaign.
