Juventus' Vlahovic deadline looms, Besiktas emerges as sole suitor

Juventus FC are racing against the June 30 deadline as centre‑forward Dusan Vlahovic’s contract expires, and Italian reports say Turkish side Besiktas is his only realistic alternative despite the striker being set to leave on a free transfer next week.

Juventus have tried and failed to secure a new deal, tabled a one‑year contract worth around €8 million per season, yet Vlahovic and his entourage have not responded, which calls the situation an ‘ultimatum’.

If Vlahovic departs, Juventus are already in talks with French striker Randal Kolo Muani as a potential replacement.

Rumours linked Bayern Munich and Barcelona to Vlahovic, but La reports neither club has made a serious formal approach.

Besiktas are prepared to invest roughly €30 million in total – €10 million per season in salary, a €5 million signing bonus and additional fees – to secure Vlahovic’s services.

The Turkish giants are coached by Italian Vincenzo Italiano, who oversaw Vlahovic’s most productive season at Fiorentina.

The situation was highlighted during a Serie A match on May 9, 2026, when Vlahovic featured for Juventus against US Lecce at Stadio Via del Mare in Lecce, Italy (photo by Maurizio Lagana).

With the deadline imminent, Juventus face the choice of losing Vlahovic for free or finalising a deal, while Besiktas remain the sole alternative as the club’s negotiations continue.
