Club Brugge clinches twentieth Belgian league title
Club Brugge secured their twentieth Belgian league title on the penultimate matchday. A 2-2 draw against KV Mechelen ensured they could not be overtaken by any rival.

Technical director Dévy Rigaux is leaving Club Brugge after seventeen years of service. He will join Dutch club Feyenoord, making the league title his final prize with Brugge.
