Yakin explains Romano's pick and unveils Nations League squad
Switzerland's head coach, Murat Yakin, presented the squad list for the upcoming Nations League matches, reaffirming respect for midfielder Alessandro Romano's decision to represent Italy and announcing the inclusion of Sascha Britschgi, a right winger from Parma.

Yakin said: “With Romano we did everything we could, but he decided with his heart. We will see how his journey with Italy goes, we wish him all the best.” The coach emphasized that the federation supported the player's choice.
News and Squad Composition
Among the new faces, right winger Sascha Britschgi, currently with Parma, has been added to the squad. His presence adds speed on the right flank.

Many of them have already amassed appearances in European competitions, providing a solid foundation for the upcoming challenges.
Yakin highlighted the importance of maintaining a balance between experience and youth, entrusting key roles to veterans like Xhaka as well as promising youngsters like Sanches.
