Cacace confident Wrexham can secure Premier League promotion

Liberato Cacace believes Wrexham can advance further after narrowly missing Championship play-offs last season.

Wrexham finished one point behind Hull City, who won the 2025-26 Championship and secured promotion to the Premier League.

"We made a good step last season in the Championship so it's a matter of just building on that," Cacace said.

The 25-year-old left-back joined Wrexham from Empoli in summer 2024 and made 38 league appearances last term.

Cacace highlighted squad depth and manager continuity as key factors for Wrexham’s potential promotion push.

Wrexham finished sixth in the Championship last season, their highest-ever league position.

Cacace will aim to feature prominently as Wrexham target a top-two finish to secure automatic promotion.
