Worthing taps Moulton's National League return to plug attack

Worthing have turned to 20‑year‑old winger Remiero Moulton to plug an attacking gap as they launch their National League campaign away at Carlisle United, securing him on a month‑long loan from Championship side Watford after he netted four goals in 23 appearances for the Reds last season.

Moulton previously spent the second half of last season with Worthing, helping the club secure the National League South title. His return brings proven experience to a squad now competing in the fifth tier of English football.

Manager Adam Hinshelwood confirmed the loan, saying: "Once we were made aware that bringing Remiero back was a possibility, we felt it was a no‑brainer to add a player of his quality back to our ranks." The club view the winger as a vital addition to their attacking options.

Worthing also announced the season‑long loan of forward Jose Marquez from Forest Green Rovers. The 20‑year‑old gained National League experience last season with Alvechurch and Dorking Wanderers.

Worthing’s opening fixture sees them travel to Carlisle United for their first National League match. The Reds will look to build on last season’s success with Moulton and Marquez providing attacking reinforcements.
