Van Bronckhorst: from the win over Como to the clash with Inter

Monday 2 November 2026, on the eve of the Champions League clash between Feyenoord and Inter, coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst said: “We have already beaten Como, we can do it against Inter as well.”

Antonelli is champion in Serie A, Serie B, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana and rankings.

Van Bronckhorst's tactical analysis

Van Bronckhorst warned Chivu: “We will have our chances to win the match as has always happened.”

The coach stated that he has watched many Inter matches, including the latest against Milan.

He added that playing against Inter is difficult because their football is similar to ours.

He observed that Inter have many injured players, but also great quality and experience.

According to him, Inter do not fear setting a low block to then press high, they bring many players forward and are a complete team.

While acknowledging the absence of some players, Van Bronckhorst emphasized that Feyenoord will have its own chances to win, as has always happened.

He clarified that Inter will be different from the one seen against Barcelona, but he knows the keys to progress in the Champions.

The coach concluded that one must play one's cards well and aim for a great result.

He recalled that away from home Feyenoord has struggled, while against Como they have already won at home, hoping to replicate the performance.
