Start market values set for ex-Leverkusen duo after Eredivisie debuts
Former Bayer Leverkusen U19 players Ferdinand Pohl, 19, and Osman Turay, 18, have been assigned start market values after making their Eredivisie debuts – €800,000 for centre‑back Pohl at FC Utrecht and €600,000 for left‑back Turay at Excelsior Rotterdam.
Start-Marktwerte set
Transfermarkt published the first market valuations for the two ex‑Bayer talents following their professional appearances in the Dutch top flight. The site listed Pohl’s market value at 800 Tsd. € and Turay’s at 600 Tsd. €.
Eredivisie debuts and early appearances
Both players left Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the summer to continue their development in the Netherlands. Last season they featured together in Bayer’s U19 side.
Pohl started Utrecht’s opening defeats against Groningen (1‑2) and Alkmaar (1‑4), being substituted after 62 minutes in each match. He missed the 3‑3 draw with Sparta Rotterdam because of a calf injury.
Turay entered Excelsior’s 4‑0 victory in the closing stages and was brought on at half‑time of the 1‑2 loss to champions PSV. The third league fixture against NEC was later postponed.
Pohl’s contract with Leverkusen had expired, while Bayer retains a buy‑back option on Turay.
