Stade Brestois schedules five to six pre-season friendlies

Stade Brestois will play five to six pre-season friendlies. Three matches have already been confirmed.

The first friendly is set for July 12 against SM Caen at the Stade Francis-Le Blé. It will be the opener of the club’s summer campaign.

Stade Brestois will face FC Lorient in a second friendly on July 19, also at the Stade Francis-Le Blé. The third announced opponent is FC Sochaux-Montbéliard on July 23.

Additional opponents and dates remain unconfirmed, though the club aims to finalize the schedule soon. Preparation includes training camps and tactical adjustments ahead of Ligue 1.

Manager Éric Roy emphasized the importance of these games for squad cohesion and fitness. Veteran midfielder Julien Faussurier will lead the midfield in these friendlies.

Stade Brestois opens the Ligue 1 season at home against FC Nantes on August 11.
