Special return of Perr Schuurs: NEC meets Juventus in Turin
Perr Schuurs is making a temporary return to Turin to play against Juventus with NEC in the Europa League on Thursday evening, after he is back on the pitch following a long rehabilitation. The Limburg defender, who played for city‑mate Torino for many years, sees this as a special return.
“It’s fantastic for me anyway to return as a footballer,” Schuurs says on Wednesday from the studio of. “That it happens in the city where I played for four years and really enjoyed myself, makes it extra special.”
