Spalletti puts pressure on Koopmeiners ahead of Europa League tie

On Thursday evening the Europa League‑clash between Juventus and NEC is on the agenda, a match that draws the press’s attention. Coach Luciano Spalletti, who leads the Turin side, received several questions about Teun Koopmeiners during the press conference, which heightened the tension around the Oranje international considerably.

The article, written by Sander Janssen and Jarno Verweij, points out that the Turin club has started the season sluggishly, a feeling that was clearly palpable in the tense atmosphere of the press conference.

Spalletti’s answers have increased the pressure on Koopmeiners, which raises the expectations for the Dutch midfielder in the European match even higher.
