Spalletti prepares Juventus for Celta Vigo with new faces in attack

At 11 a.m. this morning Juventus returned to the pitch in Turin, ready to depart after lunch for Spain, where they will face Celta Vigo in the upcoming European clash. Coach Massimiliano Spalletti has already begun studying possible lineup changes, aware of the need to manage the squad’s energy before the league return.

Travel itinerary and press conference

Once in Vigo, the Bianconeri will do a walk‑around of the stadium and at 18:50 Spalletti, accompanied by a player, will speak at a press conference. Departure is scheduled right after lunch, with the team heading to Spain for the final briefing.

Possible tactical changes

Spalletti has already considered the return of Alajbegovic on the left flank, while the choice for the right remains uncertain between Conceição and Nico González, as Zhegrova is not on the UEFA list and cannot be fielded. In defense, the coach might revisit Cambiaso’s presence, while Celik was kept out yesterday to manage workload.

The final training hours will be decisive: the squad will still have the morning to fine‑tune the last details before departure. Spalletti wants to clear doubts about the wide players and who has logged the most minutes in recent games, to arrive at the match with a competitive lineup.

After the clash with Celta Vigo, Juventus will have to return immediately to Serie A to face Lazio, another important test. The coach will need to find the balance between the desire for results in Europe and the need to preserve energy for the league.

The final decisions will be announced at the Vigo press conference, but Spalletti’s choices will already be shaped by the feedback from the latest training session and the assessment of workload for the most used players.
