Sky Badiashile poised for Italia debut as Napoli rushes medicals
Sky journalist Luca Marchetti announced that Benoit Badiashile will land in Italy tonight and undergo medical examinations tomorrow morning, as Napoli move to complete a loan deal with an option to buy for €3 million plus €27 million, reinforcing the squad ahead of the new season.
The announcement was published in the Stampa A− A+ section of Calciomercato Napoli Sport. After finalising the purchase of Favasuli, Napoli now turn their attention to finalising the Badiashile operation.
Outgoing players and target
In the outgoing market, Noa Lang and Lorenzo Lucca are listed for sale, a move that could free funds for a new striker. Both players are linked to potential departures that would enable the club to pursue Gabriel Jesus.
Galatasaray submitted a loan offer with a purchase option for Noa Lang, which Napoli deemed unsatisfactory. Ajax has also shown interest in Lang, while Bologna explored Lucca before shifting focus to other targets.
Napoli’s strategy hinges on creating space in the squad to secure a high‑profile forward such as Gabriel Jesus. The club’s recent activity underscores a broader plan to revamp the attacking line‑up.
