Torino-Juventus derby delayed by supporter clashes

Clashes between supporters delayed kickoff of the Torino vs Juventus Turin Serie A derby on Sunday, May 24.

At least one supporter was seriously injured during the unrest before the match was postponed by over an hour.

Torino and Juventus Turin confirmed the derby was suspended due to off-field incidents.

Serie A officials rescheduled the match for later in the week.

Torino midfielder Marcus Thuram and Juventus forward Federico Chiesa were among players preparing for the original fixture.

The Italian Football Federation opened an investigation into the disturbances.
