In Glasgow the Nati celebrated after a second 3-0 away win in the series with a relaxed camp. Three days after the dominant 3-0 start in North Macedonia the Swiss used the early dismissal of Jack Hendry to dominate the game and thereby continued their clear lead in the Nations League group.

Leeds defender Nico Elvedi also scored, after Dan Ndoye delivered a cross from a corner. Elvedi, who is approaching his 30th birthday and wears the number 30 shirt in the Premier League, said: “I feel very good at the moment, the confidence is extreme.” He added that he hopes to score more goals with the coach.

Coach Murat Yakin was extremely satisfied after the clear performance. He emphasized that the team was working defensively with concentration and had shown a mature display. Yakin already turned his gaze to the upcoming match against Slovenia and stated that the aim was to win the group.
