Romano reveals Lopez's devotion keeps Manchester United out

Fermin Lopez has netted six goals and supplied six assists in 13 matches for Barcelona this season, and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano says the Spain international is completely in love with the club and has no intention of joining Manchester United.
Man Utd have expressed interest in signing Lopez, a versatile attacking midfielder or winger, and have reportedly made an enquiry for the player.
United's enquiry and Moretto's comments
Transfer journalist Matteo Moretto told ’s La Pizarra de Quintana show that the Premier League club Manchester United are looking for a midfielder with the attributes of both Pablo Barrios and Lopez, but there is no negotiation, only an enquiry.
He added that it is very unlikely both Barrios and Lopez will leave their clubs, describing Barrios as indispensable for Atletico and Lopez as key for Barcelona.
Moretto also noted United took the opportunity to hold meetings when they travelled to Madrid for the Champions League clash with Atletico.
Graeme Bailey of TEAMtalk later reported that Barcelona have no intention of selling Lopez to United.
A senior Barcelona source echoed this, saying no club has approached the player, describing him as unattainable and highlighting his new, improved contract signed earlier this year.
Romano confirmed on his YouTube channel that Lopez is happy at Barcelona, loves the club and would even like to retire there, leaving no room for speculation about a Premier League move.
He also mentioned that Hansi Flick and club officials, including Deco, share the view that Lopez is a crucial member of the squad.
