Roma's third kit debut adds intrigue to Serie A clash with Napoli

Roma will unveil their official third jersey in tonight’s Serie A meeting with Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, a visual shift that could boost the Giallorossi’s confidence in an important away fixture and offers fans a fresh look as the side seeks to improve its league standing.

Third kit makes its debut

The third kit will be worn for the first time this season, having never featured in any of Gian Piero Gasperini’s Napoli matches previously. Its introduction replaces the traditional red home strip and the white away version that Roma have alternated so far.

Facing the Azzurri in an important Serie A clash, Roma’s new colours provide a distinct contrast to Napoli’s usual palette. The club has only used its first two kits this campaign, the red home and the white away, each serving specific purposes on the pitch.

Roma’s starting eleven has been reshuffled for the encounter. Goalkeeper Antonio Gollini returns between the posts, while the back line is set to feature the Mancini‑Ndicka‑Hermoso trio.

On the flanks, Lulli and Wesley are expected to operate, with Lulli directly opposing Napoli’s forward Molina. In midfield, De Roon and Pisilli will start, and a battle for the attacking midfield role will see Cristante preferred over Mora.

The forward line will be completed by Soulé and Malen, rounding out a line‑up that aims to challenge Napoli’s defence.
